Well its been a couple of months of discovery and trying out new things, I have found sometimes alternative routs are as good for creating inspiration, sometimes totally unrelated

Such as finding yourself without and using what's on hand as substitute, lateral thinking of the designer mind comes in handy when in a fix

                                                   Battle scar leaf plaster

Coming up with a new look for our window display and the making of a whole load of colorful origami cranes (thankfully this was a joint effort)

                                                         Some of the many many

                                                        ............. Birds

Rough sketch of summer Pop Up Shop window vinyl

Finishing late night in the Galleries Bristol ready for
all the work to go in

Some things I have been working on recently
Rain bowls and printed Gundamn platters

Oh and I came across this at 1am in Asda and couldn't help laughing at the thought of someone standing shaking up this cake and then placing it back on the shelf....made me smile haha

So muuuuch more interesting!!

Time has got long legs and likes to do a lot of running

Time really doesnt wait, before you know it a couple of months have slipped by whilst intention seems to move very slowly indeed. So here's a few pieces and tinkerings I've been up to in between creating projects for my ceramics classes.

Sgraffito is easily one of my favorites theres something so satisfying about scratching through a semi soft layer of clay.

Have bought several belts all of which have broken from the folding and tightening my latest belt is well on its way to the same demise sooooo...

 a few snip snips later
 ala bicycle belt

Whilst on the subject of time...Sometimes tiredness and talking conjure up some impressive possibilities, one of my favorite came to life recently whilst contemplating the time element of a particular collaboration, all of a sudden there it was "The Time Elephant" which without consent or introduction popped clean out of thin air, I thought i could ignore it but to my friend and fellow artist its sheer volume in the enclosed space was too much to ignore distracting us from the task at hand and all because of an accidental slip of the tongue! I must be more careful when i speak who knows what else is waiting for a chance to make an appearance!

Well irregular is not the word for my lack of posting but here is some of the work I've been tinkering with over the last month or two..... It has been a busy period setting up our Pop Up Shop but has been a fantastic opportunity for getting work out there.
